Notes
The MacBook's graphics chipset used a portion of main memory as VRAM. Though reported as a 256 MB graphics system, the chipset actually used up to 272 MB of RAM. A single 3.5mm jack could be used for analog or optical audio out, or analog audio in.
Introduced quietly in May 2010, the MacBook (Mid 2010) replaced the MacBook (Late 2009)]. Improvements included a faster processor and graphics chipset. The MacBook (Mid 2010) sold in a single $999 configuration, with 2 GB of RAM. Built-to-order options included 4 GB of RAM, and a 320 or 500 GB 5400 rpm hard drive.
